SCRAPSTORE VAN RUN INFORMATION & TIMETABLE

Our van service regularly visits locations in The Borders, East Lothian, West Lothian, Midlothian and Edinburgh both to collect scrap items and deliver items to Scrapstore members at no charge.  (If you’re not a member but would like to join click here for details.)

We try to be flexible so the schedule isn’t fixed – there’s no point taking the van somewhere if there is no demand for it but there is a demand elsewhere.  Obviously it also doesn’t make sense to drive 50 miles to deliver £10 worth of goods.

The current van schedule can be found here.  If you’d like a visit to your location, please drop us an email (john@bordersscrapstore.org.uk) and we’ll do our best. It helps if you let us know what you want, even if it’s just a rough idea, such as “we’re making spaceships” or “got anything for olympic torches?”.

Here is our new goods price list and a guide to some of the salvaged stuff we have. It is the very nature of Scrapstores that the materials available change every day, so the list may not be bang up to date at all times.

TUESDAY 26th MAY – Tweedbank, Melrose, Gala, Stow, Lauder, Lilliesleaf

TUESDAY 2nd JUNE – Edinburgh, Portobello, Dalkeith, Newtongrange, Levenhall, Prestonpans, Wallyford, Aberlady, Cockenzie
